My debut cookbook, Veneto: Recipes from an Italian Country Kitchen (Guardian Faber) is out now.
The book is a collection of 100 recipes inspired by the cuisine of my home region of Veneto, Italy. My intention wasn’t to create a compendium of Venetian recipes as much as to share a piece of my heritage and cast some light on this too-often overseen part of Italy through its food. I hope you’ll enjoy the stories as well as the recipes.
I styled and photographed the entire book, mixing classic plated shots with photos of ingredients and landscapes. The clean page layout and eye-catching cover, on the other hand, are both by talented designer Anna Green.
